Falling Plates is a Pistol Action Shooting Event that is held at WWCCA throughout the year. Competitors fire four stages from the standing position. Each stage is at a different distance from 10, 15, 20 and 25 yards respectively. Each stage consists of two strings, 6 shots per string for a total of 48 shots for entire course. Targets are 8" round metal plates for centerfire handguns and 6" round metal plates for rimfire handguns. Participants are scored and timed. This sport is very popular with Cowboy Action, IDPA, Bianchi Cup shooters and handgun shooters at WWCCA looking for a fun, but challenging event. |
