FNRA Overview

Welcome to the WWCCA Friends of the NRA (RNRA) page.

The mission of the WWCCA FNRA is to raise funds for the NRA Foundation. The mission of the NRA Foundation is to promote and protect our shooting heritage by raising funds for youth education, firearm training, range development, conservation and support of the shooting sports for women.

In order to receive funds from the NRA Foundation, organizations apply for grants. In fact, WWCCA has received grants totaling over $30,000 in the last few years.

Our committee was formed in 2009 to work in partnership with the NRA Foundation and WWCCA. With your help, and support we are proud to announce that we have qualified as a High Caliber Committee for the last two years; raising over $25,000 per year. This designation gives us the ability to offer a distinctive range of items for our fundraising efforts.
Our main event is the Friends of the NRA Banquet. The 9th annual banquet is scheduled for Friday, May 5, 2017 at Helenic Cultural Center, 36375 Joy Road, Westland, Michigan.
We provide a great dinner, camaraderie, and the excitement of games of chance, raffles, and auctions: silent and live.

As a promise to our guests, we offer high quality items. In the past we have auctioned and raffled such items as:
Sports memorabilia; including signed jerseys, hockey sticks, pucks, baseballs
Charters, golf outings, hunting trips
Select pistols, rifles, and shotguns
A Ladies table; including guns, shooting apparel and accessories geared toward the woman enthusiast.
Gift certificates from local businesses

The doors open at 5:00 p.m. Please come and join us.

In addition to our banquet, we have periodic raffles of popular firearms.
